L'oreal True Match Lumi-Drugstore Foundation Review

Love the Pump

Nice thin consistency,but not runny.

Can you see the glow it gives you?

I have seen this foundation all over You Tube and blogs and it has gotten nothing but great reviews. I watched one review after the next with different applications, and mixing it with several different foundations. I thought, what have I been waiting for? I tried it with both a beauty blender and a flat top foundation brush both gave amazing results.

The Good:
The Price $10-$13 at the drugstore
(I got it at Ulta during their BOGO 50% off and a $4 coupon for L'oreal and an Ulta Coupon)
It does exactly what it says, you do get a nice glow without looking like a ghost.
The coverage is very light so this is perfect for you if you want that fresh glow without a lot of coverage.
However, I mixed it with a full coverage foundation and the finish was perfection.
I loved this foundation... but

The Bad:
It broke me out and I mean hardcore, I gave it a week and tried it on its own without anything else. I was out and about and checked myself in the mirror. New zits that were not there when I left the house, and cystic acne. I am heart broken because this is a beautiful foundation, but it really did not work with my skin.

Would I recommend it? Yes, I have complicated skin, Revlon Color stay gives me cystic acne too. However, L'oreal True Match does not. I am back to using Bare Minerals which is old faithful for me.

Have you tried this? What was your experience? What foundation should I try next?
